SHP Hacked

Fenice's picture

I just popped over to SHP to see the news of the last week since things seem to be slow, and the site is down with a message stating that some idiot (or a group of idiots) hacked into the site and uploaded some malware/viruses.

People have way too much time on their hands to be doing stupid things like that.

I see it's down, but why the

I see it's down, but why the login option if it's down? Just wondering.

That guy in Colorado on dial up has been at it again.

Good thing they got his IP last time, eh?

"Good thing they got his IP last time, eh?"

Didn't Eunuch "promise" SWIFT VENGEANCE!? And THAT was just for a RUMOR.

I guess he and the "Legion of Doofus" are going to scour the world this time, eh?

Wasn't that the infamous

Wasn't that the infamous "legal action supposedly closing the site" incident?

Talk about a storm in a tea cup.

That was after Younis

That was after Younis dragged Gough into the Welling/JLA thing. I always interpreted that incident as someone reminding Younis who *really* holds his leash. Maybe I'm wrong though.

With the stuff they write

With the stuff they write about Smallville it's a bloody miracle Gough would give him the time of day.

It was hardly coincedental that the moment Younis spoke to Gough, the whole Welling thing went sour.

It was about the same time Sanchez went from crowing about breaking the Welling story to rediscovering his love for Singer and company

Ya know, I would've been

Ya know, I would've been willing to allow Welling to be in a TRUE reboot of Superman, even if it possibly used Smallville as 'vague history.' Certainly a better choice than 'BJ' Routhman. However, with the recent rumors about Smallville possibly having a 9th season after the upcoming 8th one, it leads me to believe that Welling is practically a 'slave' to his contract with no end in sight. Everyone else leaves? Fine. Welling's still there. A new Superman franchise passes him by? Fine. Welling's still bound to CW. Whatever. See my frustration? Add to this the debacle, or should I say laughing-stock, that JLA seems to have become & you probably see my point.

MAKE MINE MARVEL!

Isn't Welling only signed

Isn't Welling only signed for an 8th season, wouldn't he have to provide a signature for a 9th season? Why would he when everyones leaving or on their way out? The 9th season will never happen, the shows at it's end. I never even came close to believing the 9th season talk.

Ya know what? I'm done with "vague histories". Either fully embrace the SV continuity or go for an entirely new universe with a different actor and all that. No more mixing and matching!

I was under the impression his contract is up at the end of season 8. CW can hope and wish for a 9th season all they like but I can't help but doubt that Welling would participate at this point.

It is up, as you said

It is up, as you said Colors. Welling is signed only till season 8. It would be a really daft move to sign for a 9th season with all the negative vibe the show is getting and the declining viewership.

Welling will not be signing

Welling will not be signing for another season. The comments by CW's top idiot were merely for posturing as they had just filed bankruptcy protection that week. And if Smallville is having a "full" season, how are they going to explain Reaper airing on Thursdays at 8pm from December to May?? Is Smallville moving to another day and time??
